Artist Bio

I grew up in an artistic family, influenced by both my Dad and the beauty of Nature...I love Nature and it´s views. Mountains and forests, sunny days and thunderstorms, ocean waves and snow it is all breathtaking. This kind of beauty touches my heart in a way I cannot live without.

Currently my main nature's inspiration comes from Valle de Bravo, a small and colorful Mexican village that is surrounded by stunning views full of beautiful trees, waterfalls and a magnificent lake. I step into my balcony and fill myself with the energy of such a glorious surrounding and simply get inspired. I have found peace and creativity at my temple of inspiration which is my home, a dream come true. I simply love to draw and paint, and the amazing natural views as it could be expected became my theme. The beauty I see in this world is so inspiring and so real. So humbling and so empowering at the same time.

My father was an engineer and also an amazing artist... I have never forgotten that I got my talent from my father. So with my new adventure I decided as a tribute to him to share with the world my talent and inspiration, both displayed on my artwork.
My Family is the most important thing in my life, all the love and support I get from Sergio my husband is irreplaceable and our life project together is my engine. My brothers Ignacio and Luis are such an important part of who I am, that I cannot imagine painting with such honesty and openness if it wasn't for our close relationship. Of course my mom has been a key element in building and holding up my family together the way it is. And last but not least, my greatest love of all, my three wonderful kids, Tzinnia, Sergio and Sebastian, who bring so much light into my life, so much diversity and so much inspiration that every piece in my collection reflects a tiny bit of what I feel for them. It is because of them and dedicated to them that I am the artist that I am.

I originally studied graphic design which already showed my inclination for art, however I truly began my career in Art Twelve years ago under the lovely guidance and great dedication of my teacher Esther Sámano, who also was responsible for putting together my first exhibitions, great learning experiences... and through these years I have chartered for myself a strong identity with the community of Abstract Art, attending several workshops in Albuquerque, New México, Miami, Florida, Jackson Missisippi and Toronto Canada.
Right from childhood my inclination towards fine art and the drive within me to excel among my peers has put me on a platform where challenges have become a part of my life. With strong willpower and creative exuberance I have now ventured into the field of Abstract painting. My designs are a reflection of a classical mix of the ethnic, modern and natural arts...my abstract style consist of a surreal imagery combined with different elements as musical compositional elements. Further more, I use mixed media, oil paintings and acrylic paints, and found objects, to enhance the visual and textural aspects of my paintings. I paint daily and involve myself in various art related activities.

Finally, I believe Art to be a very powerful form of self-expression. One cannot create art without placing some of ones heart and soul in each piece. We can better understand a person by simply watching, listening and feeling the art they have created. Like music, literature, and scientific research; Art offers boundless opportunities for creativity. Indeed, Art represents the pinnacle of human achievement.

I work solely in my own workshop on ideas and new creations.... and I would love to be in any assistance if you would want your interiors or exteriors decorated with my paintings... it would be my honor to leave some of my heart and soul at your home.

It is my pleasure to share with you, my Art.
